the massive increase in prices

The prices on everything are increasing tremendously it is ridiculous. The price of gas has gone up from 0.96 cents to 1.50$ per L. The prices of food now days have went up tremendously. The prices of clothing and essentials have gone up also. I mean with the prices going up it means our economy is good but at the same it is hard for some to live. With gas going up it’s is more difficult for families that struggle with money to be able to drive. 20$ doesn’t even get you to a quarter tank anymore. When the pandemic started and no one was driving the gas prices where 60-70 cents. Now we are at 1.60$! That makes no sense what so ever. How are lower income family’s support to afford bills, food and gas? As well as whatever else they may need for them or for there household. I think the government is robbing us all. This is ridiculous!

The new lives being brought into this world during the pandemic

Image
I find this matter very sad. The fact that the women bringing baby’s into this world are having to lose out on so many life changing moments. Not just the moms tho, these new dads are missing out on a lot also. These moms are having to go to ultrasounds and appointments alone because you are only aloud to have 1 person in the room. All these moms having to pick between having there mom  in the room or the father of the child. Not being able to introduce you’re child to there family until u are home and settled in because u cannot have anyone at the hospital. Also most mothers when they get home from the hospital are going to want to quarantine to strengthen the baby’s immune system before bringing them around all these new people. I find it truly heart breaking that these moms are having to do this alone. The teen moms especially. Not only is this there first baby. They are having to do everything alone. Not being able to have ur mom with you while giving birth is scary. She unders...

The USA compared to Canada (covid regulations)

Image
If u ask me my opinion on the covid regulations such as the masks, the vaccines, and the public gathering numbers I think that it is a big joke. Okay, I understand that this is a virus killing people but at the same time, we are all going to get it eventually. I believe that we should just open everything up like the US has and they seem to be doing a lot better than we are here in Windsor. The USA has dropped the mandates on masks as long as u are vaccinated, which I believe that we should be doing the same here in Canada. This virus does not seem to be going anywhere anytime soon at least, we are going to have to learn to live with this virus. We are all going to eventually get it and start building the immunity to this virus. With all that is going on and all of the kids, students and people standing up for our wrights as humains is a start to showing Justin Trudeau that something needs to change. I strongly believe that us taking action is going to help slowly reduce these unn...

Convoy in Canada due to covid mandates

Image
In Ontario, there are truckers that have lost their job due to Justin Trudeau mandating vaccines for truckers. But not only are they losing their jobs we are not receiving food supplies because of the lack of truckers. There is a convoy happening in Ottawa where all the truckers are blocking trafic until Trudeau sees what he is doing and takes away the mandates that have been put into place. Trudeau said that he might not have a choice but to bring the army into this. I honestly belive that what Trudeau is doing is not helping nor solving anything. I belive that our jobs should not be at risk and we should have a choice on what is ingected into our body's. If ur not vacciated u are not aloud to do anything that includes going into a public place with other people that dont live in ur house hold. Everyone being fired from their jobs because they dont want to get vaccinated are all suffering and worrying about money, most have family's and kids they have to worry about and make s...

The effects of covid on teenagers

Image
Over the last 3 years, covid has  slowed down,  gotten worse, killed, and affected many  people's mental health. I  know what you're thinking. How could a virus affect someone's mental health? Well with only the unknown ahead of us, we aren't very sure what is going to happen next. Living day to day not knowing if we are staying in school and the constant in and out of in-person learning has an effect on every person. The lockdowns I believe are what have the most effect on teenagers and children. Everything that has happened in the past 3 years has been scary and confusing. When covid first started and the first lockdown happened I was in my first semester of grade 9. I have been online learning for the last 2 and a half years. And now I find myself writing this in my grade 11 English class. Not just mental health has been affected but also the grades as well as the social skills of many children. Many children now that are starting school and starting high s...
